Victor Fernando Martinez was born in Bogota, Colombia. Since he was a child, performing music has been a strong desire of his, and it continues to influence his life even today. One of the turning points in his music ministry came when he became the worship leader — at just 15 years old — at a Maryland church called Mission Evangelica Aposento Alto, pastured by Saul Lopez. There, Fernando developed his skills on teaching piano, voice, guitar, bass, and drums. At the same time, his ministry to the Lord grew further, as he started teaching the Bible and leading kids to become worshippers. Moreover, at the age of 17, Fernando followed the lead of the Holy Spirit and composed several songs for the church. The Holy Spirit also led Fernando in 2006 to start a new band and ministry with Pastor Elias Jimenez at Showers of Blessings Church, also in Maryland . Within two years, Fernando began discipling two new bands there. Fernando says of his gifts, “It has been eight years since God gave me this wonderful talent to teach, minister, compose, and love the ones who surrounds me daily…..no matter what I do, all the Glory and Honor is for him only.”
